Pump Up Your Heart with Cardio Fitness Training

Cardiovascular fitness training is an important aspect of any exercise regimen to maintain oneself and stay fit at any age. Cardiovascular training is not only for fat burning but the intense weight lifting sessions will build muscles also.

If you cannot push through a set of squats without taking five minutes to catch your breath, then its time to enroll for cardio fitness training.

We at Synergy take pride in giving you an excellent cardiovascular fitness training program, which is a sustained exercise schedule involving the large muscle groups. Some features of cardiovascular training include brisk walking, biking, running, swimming, cross country skiing, in-line skating, aerobic dance, and stepping. Though shorter periods of five or ten minutes can give the same benefits as longer sessions, we recommend thirty minutes of cardio training, three times per week as the best time span for most people.

Our instructors insist on regular stretching exercises before starting the participants on any cardio fitness training regimen. The main purpose of the stretching exercises includes: keeping muscles supple, increasing range of motion of joints, enhancing flexibility, improving coordination and preventing injuries.

Our goal is to keep your heart in a healthy condition but not to over-stress the cardio muscles. For that reason, you should adjust your cardiovascular training in such a way that your heart rate is not more than 60-80% of your maximum heart rate.

Cardiovascular training is not only important, but essential for maintaining fitness, and must be included in your exercise program.
